help getting started

if anyone can help....I got a gas powered race car, the starter and all i need to get going but if I take it off the starter, it turns off .don't know what else to do. i'm new at this and would appreciate any help :confused:

I can't help but I noticed you didn't post in the nitro forum. Someone who may frequent that forum and not General Discussion will be able to help you. Maybe a mod can move this thread over?
