ok there are five screws two in the front towards the front wheels two in the rear towards the rear wheels and one RIGHT in the middle to get acces to the middle one youll have to remove the batteries and youll see it. as for the price the canned heat itself costs 20 bux. ill type a step by step thing of what i did to make it this large and i will include pics.

bullfrog have u ever been to rcmt.net? There are a unch of people on that that make canned heats into monster trucks and speed demons, people have also put hobby electronics in em. Of and bull I wouldn't suggest 4 cells after a while it'll burn the cirect board out, 3 cells is safer. I'm thinking about putting lights on my ram. Oh also to get more speed u can use some of the tamiya dash motors for mini 4wd slot cars(I think they're for slot cars). I'm also thinking about putting in working suspension on my canned heat.

ok guys here is what i did. well first i took off the body and set it aside. then i unsodlered the wires leading to the batt case and attached them to the batteries one of the wires was just a prong so i just replaced the prong with a wire. then i removed the tires and test fitted the mt wheels i found that the rims attached to the mt wheels like a puzzle piece but then i later found that the truck would not be able to turn! so what i did was i carved out the front sides of the chassis to allow the big tires to clear the side of the chassis i also found that the rear tires would scrape the chassis so all i did was pushed the tire toward the inside of the rim. i then glued the wheels to the rims and let them set to dry. after that i took it for its first test run IT WORKED!!!!! so i picked it up and attached the body on . there really isnt a certain way to attach it but i used the two front body mounts and taped those to the batt. and i used a spring to get some body bounce ( to make it look real) then i looked at it and decided that it needed a makeover the rims didnt match the body and they were an ugly red and yellow color so i scraped all of the " flashy" paint off the body and painted the rims a dark blue color MUCH BETTER! here are some pics to help you understand what i did. http://www.printroom.com/_vti_bin/ViewImage.dll?userid=mrfrogger25&album_id=34714&image_id=2&courtesy=1 http://www.printroom.com/_vti_bin/ViewImage.dll?userid=mrfrogger25&album_id=34714&image_id=3&courtesy=1 http://www.printroom.com/_vti_bin/ViewImage.dll?userid=mrfrogger25&album_id=34714&image_id=4&courtesy=1

Bullfrog, your right... Warhawk created a new name just to make himself look (and feel) better.

And how do I know this? In the Painting forum, Jaguar posted that Jeep's wife posted a picture of him before. And that thread was from at least a month ago, but Jaguar only registered yesterday.

Oh, plus the fact that warhawk and Jaguar's posts are minutes apart... at 3 am...

Guys, Jaguar IS warhawk, I checked the IP adresses, and they are way too close to eachother. I will be informing Steve about this. Which name do you want to keep?

In light of the topic, I picked up a new Canned Heat the other day, I have already ordered a new Tamyia motor, it will be in a week from today, actually, I got the S2000, which, apparently has a better circuit board, than all of the others. I also ordered the pinion puller, as requested by the pros at RCMT.net, those guys were really helpful. I also plan on putting on some monster truck tires myself, but I plan on doing a little better job, than strapping tape...

I will keep you all posted.

that is cool. i build an on-road car out of a modle. i made the chassas with brass tubing. the body is a 70 chevell. it is pewered by a super 16 slot car motor, i managed to get an esc and recever in it. it has a 6 cell battery pack in it (made with rechargible "AA") it gose fast but the run time aint to much. (sorry there arnt any pics of mine i dont have a way to get any)
i hop ur monster never catches me driveing down the hall way or im lible to get run over. i like ur creation.
