How long does it usually take before the CA starts to let go while soaking in acetone? I have quite a few worn out tires that I still want to rims from.

i soak mine for about 5 hours. you can actually soak them overnight if you want. tried it at 2 hours before and they were still stuck on.

Funny this topic arose as I just now got done with a set of tires myself. I boiled them for about 10 minutes and the tires just peeled right off the rims.

I left mine in since last night and when I tried to peel them off I had to grab the bead with pliers and twist to get it to come off. It might be because its not pure but I'll try boiling them with some salt next time. Thanks.

you are using to much super glue...it should only take 2-4 hours to get the tires off with acetone..I use an old coffe container with a lid to put the acetone and tires in

you need PURE acetone from wal-mart or home depot.
