hello i have a sd100 canon digital camera n i think i am going to the smallest pixels when shooting the pics but when i try to post them it says its to big still, how do i fix this?please help!

What format are the pics in and what is the file size? In general I try to not post anything over 640x480 in .jpg format. And keep the file size around 70k or so. A great program that I use to resize things is ACDsee (http://www.acdsystems.com/english/products/acdsee/index).

Fester, here's the easy way of doing things. Move your pics from your camera to the computer. Resize them to about 640X480 pixels. If you have to, you can resize them slightly smaller. Cropping your pics is another way to cut down on size. If the resizing cuts out too much of your detail, use a pic hosting webservice. There's a number of them out there. Villagephotos.com is a great place, and it's free.

piggy, i dunno much about my camera ,i know a couple of things but this one has got me stupmed.i will try figuring it out.i letcha know how i make out ok! what about using a camer aphone or a cheap digital camera???

Regardless of your camera, the resizing is done from your computer. Open up your pics in your photo editing program and resize to about 640X480 pixels. The resize option is usually located in the edit toolbar.

PIGGY---BIG THANK U FOR HELPING ME FIGURING OUT TO POST PICS HERE,I OWE YA ONE!WHAT I haD TO DO WAS INPORT THE IMAGES OUT OF MY PIC FOLDER TO MY PRINT SHOP PROGRAM (WHICH IS VERY OLD,VERSION 6.0),(BOUGHT IT AT A KAYBEE STORE STORE ON A CLEARANCE RACK FOR LIKE 5 BUCKS N THATS LIKE 5 YR AGO I BELIEVE,LOL,BUT IT WORKED!! THEN CHANGE IT TO A JPEG B4 I SAVED IT IN MY PIC FOLDER AGAIN!THANX!
