More "coming soon" stuff from Tamiya...

Tamiya presents the 1/10 scale R/C model of 1992 WRC champion machine, the Lancia Delta HF Integrale. The Lancia comes with a fully finished body, with paint and markings preapplied, and is mounted on the user-friendly TT-01 chassis.

About the Lancia Delta HF Integrale
The Lancia Delta HF Integrale first gained notoriety at the 1986 World Rally Championship, when it took the place of the Delta S4 “Group B” car which was disqualified because of regulation changes. The following year an improved version featuring a 200hp engine won the WRC and continued to dominate that championship for a record-braking 6-year run from 1987 to 1992. The 4WD Delta HF demonstrated its outstanding speed and versatility on the course at the 1992 World Rally Championship.

I missed those kits with the driver figures in them. My Falcon had one and it was so cool looking driving it around.

I got a Kyosho lancia delta that looks like that from the late 80's in mint shape. Anyone know if it's worth something and how I can sell it?

It is cool, but I have my eye on the Citroen Xsara (spelling?) WRC car on the TT01 chassis.

Now if Tamiya released a 1985 Ford RS 200 Rally Car....

how come it comes with slicks and not rally tires?

those are scale appropriate rally tires. Besides, they have tread on them, they aren't slicks.

Way cool. I have videos of the Lancia in action. Gotta love old school rally cars.

The photo shows treaded tires. But the description says slicks. The slicks were used on rally cars to run on a surface called Tarmac.

thanks noahrc. your reply is helpful. i even checked the meaning of tarmac, lol.
(tarmac - n. A tarmacadam road or surface, especially an airport runway.)
(tarmacadam - n. A pavement consisting of layers of crushed stone with a tar binder pressed to a smooth surface. )
