I know this is a pathetic question, however I was wondering if kits come with the proper fluieds needed, such as one level of shock fluid, lubes and stuff like that. If it varies from kit to kit, more specifically does the XXX-T Spec come with any? I know this is a stupid question, but when I bought my car it was an RTR, so I dont know, and I forgot to ask last time at my LHS. Thanks again.

I think all kits come with the required fluids to get them running, ie: shock fluid, diff lube. As for RTRs i dont know, check the instructions to see if they say.
Im sure someone here will be able to help more than me

Yes, all the kits I know of include all the fluids & greases(if needed) you need to build them, though RTR's may not, & the kit fluids may or may not be the best ones for your racing situation(particularly shock oil, you should check with your local track to see what oil the guys there use in their shocks)..... http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif

Many of the higher end kits do not include things such as oils and greases. The manufacturers feel that the drive will want to choose his own oils and greases if he is buying a car that is this high caliber.

Typically the kits come with everything youll need. Its usually their own brands which isn't a bad thing but it always seems like the shock oil is too light. I would find out what guys are running in their trucks and get a good bottle of trinity (or other good brand) so you know exactly what you've got. That 5 bucks buys piece of mind. Just my opinion of course http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif

ATM not true. High level kits always come with fuild so someone can get the car built. A person has to start somewhere so a person knows what to change to help the handling. I'm pretty sure rtr kits come with extra shock oil and grease.

Distro-- actually, quite a few of the high end 1/8 scale kits do not come with shock oil or diff fluid. With the exception of those, almost every kit comes with all the stuff needed to build it: shock oil, diff grease, etc.
