I notice some times the Stress-Tech parts are beneficial that they dont break, instead they are very soft and flex. They are great for stressed area's like suspention arms and shock towers, but in area's where stiff material is needed I feel these parts are lacking. In my Quake gear box, there is soo much flex, that by hand I canmake the ring and pinion gears hop in the box and skip over teeth which will eventually ruin the gears and be very costly to replace, even with proper shimming. I vote for stiffer Gear Box's only since the parts are fine in other area's. The gear box's are the Artery's of the car, without proper gear mesh, the vehicle will constantly stripp out gears, and be very costly to the unknowing hobbyist, and to duratrax who replaces these gears. I am not puttign Duratrax's Vehicle's down, I love mine, I feel that it is necessary to stiffen the Gear Box's, by either making a harder material, or making aluminum hop ups which many will be glad yo purachase, I right not am trying to find somone who can machine custom parts to keep these Vehicles running well. Please post below if you agree to the fact the Gear Box's need improvement , and I will send this to Duaratrax so they can improve their vehicles.

Definately, anything near gears has to be strong, helps keep things less costly.

And Duratrax shouldn't stop at just the Strees-Tech parts, but should give it some real aluminum shock towers and upper chassis brace.

I don't buy duratrax cause I don't like RTR but who wants parts that flex like crazy. Even though i will never have a duratrax I'll make your lives easier by saying that you guys at duratrax need to make stonger parts!!!
