I've been hearing all sorts of problems regarding Tamiya's steering slop on their models. I'm thinking of getting the TG10 Rally. Is the steering bad on the TG10 as well? I read the Nitro Sedan shootout review in RCCA and they reviewed a TG10 Pro. Granted it is the Pro version, but I figured it would probably have similar characteristics as the regular TG10? No? Anyways, like I said, if the TG10 does have slop, how bad is it really? Bad enough not to consider buying it, or can the problem be remedied easily? And how? I never had an R/C car before, so I don't really know what it feels like to have steering slop. Is it like having a terrible wheel allignment on a real car that pulls to one side while driving?

It is quite easy to fix this. Use rubber bands to make it tighter. Also, you can put washers behind the screws (you will know what I mean when you build the car), this also helps rid of slop in the suspension.

I guess I shouldn't worry about it too much huh? Like you said nothing a little washer here and there and tightening up cannot fix.

Thanks for the info.

If I can get a digital camera to take a [pic of what I did to my ta03 (they also have suspension slop), you will be able to see what I mean. And adding washers really helped.
