I was browsing the net checking out parts and hop-ups and ran across this...

What do you guys think? personally,...I think it would ROCK to see my bash sessions from a truck/car cam

Those work quite well in a car. I put one in my Xray M18 and drove around the office. I was able to drive my car around my office by just looking at the video monitor. I hooked up the receiver to a 60 inch plasma screen and the picture quality was still quite good. I didn't realize I had an audience of various bosses within my organization when I went out and chased some geese away in the parking lot.

Needless to say, it was a great hit!! Look around on the net and you can find some that same brand or specs for a little cheaper.

Even in a micro without oil filled shocks, the display was quite steady. In an off-road vehicle, mount it securely to the inside of the body. A little bit of soft foam around it will help protect it from the impact of jumping. It's a worthwhile little toy.

I saw this while browsing for better deals.

question is,...do you think I could get a BNC to Component converter/adapter and run this wireless video feed directly to my computer?

was thinking I might go with this setup and do a 2 or 3 cam setup on my car

edit: eek,..you have to manually change the output device. It isn't a 4 cam output like I thought it would be.

You can buy a BNC to RCA adapter at Radio Shack, should run you about a buck or two. Most of the hobby type camera systems of them are single cam outputs. To run multiple cameras, you'd need a multiplexer and multi-receiver. You could buy multiple camera systems and plug them into your card. If you shop around you can get 4 camera systems that connect into a switcher, so you could connect 4 cameras up, and switch between which camera to look at.

If you wanted to run multiple wireless cameras and view them all simultaneously, you'd need a completely different system that'd cost way too much for what it's worth. Trust me on this one.

well,...single cam setups are roughly 70 bucks. so If I wanted a forward and backward shot at the same time it would cost me 140 for both cam systems and another 40-50 for the PCI card for the computer.

not to bad,....if I come up with some extra change :)
