i just bought the xxx main video!!!!!!!

i was at the lhs today, and my grandpa was buyin, so i bought (he bought) the video. i watched it today, and it was pretty sweet. the video quality to me, seemed bad, but i think i was sitting too close to the tv.

u shoudl really get this. cuz if yur like me, adn have never seen any r/c action other than what u do at yur house, this is kool. i just wish they had more t-maxx's and monster trucks instead of all the 1/8 scale buggies.

the 1/8 scale bugies crashed really kool though. they did like 20 cartwheels at a time. it was sweet. this will be one ill watch for awhile.

Don't get me wrong, they're awesome videos, I just need something new, and quick!

there wera also some real stupid things in there, but it was good. especially at the end where the chick on teh cover of the tape thing, takes off her top. she doesnt show anything, but u can see just a teency weency little bit. lol. she has her big cowboy hat over her u know, and then she turns around while she puts it on her head. and she is facing a highway while she is half nude!! i wish i was riding a bike on that highway. id truck over to her. lmao.

I would love to get the video to show my 4 year old who loves this stuff, but the music and girl stuff make it off-limits for now. I don't mean having Barney music in the back round, just something that is suited for the whole family. Maybe I'll wait til he is a teenager.

Team Associated sells racing videos that are totally clean. I own the 96 and 97 versions, and I love em. There's some fluff that has nothing to do with RC racing at the end of the 97 video, but the rest makes up for it. Tons of racing action and some pit footage of your favorite racers.
www.towerhobbies.com (http://www.towerhobbies.com) carries 3 different Associated Videos, and if on-road is your thing, I think Trinity makes an on-road video also listed on Tower Hobbies.

The video does contain some questionable scenes that may be a little more mature than an 11 year old is ready for. There is nothing "over board". No nudity or violence. Just some pics of bikini girls and the odd hand gesture. For the most part it is mellower than other extreme videos.

All in all I'd say it is rated for ages 14 and up but that depends on the specific audience. In any case, viewer discretion is advised.

I downloaded some sample clips from the website, and while the video and footage was cool, I could NOT stand the music, not even for the minute or so the clips ran. There's just something about bad guitar work and screaming into a microphone that my ears don't like =)

The 96 Associated video has 1/10 gas truck racing in it, but the 97 has only electric racing.

"xxx main THE VIDEO" has a bunch of 1/10 scale nitro trucks in it. A lot of the shots were from nitro races such as the ROAR nationals, the Ohio Indoor Champs at the CRCRC or the Kyosho World Challenge in Detroit.

It can take anywhere from 1 to 4 weeks to receive the video but generally it takes about a week to a week and a half.
