How come no one shows rc on TV? It would be kewl to see rc on TV. :)

it would be excellent to see that happen but first it would have to get recognition as sport. some people view this as aour adictive hobby and that's all.
but it is a sport and for some a way of life

I think it might be bad for the hobby. It looks cool when you see it, then you see the cost...

I fail to see how this would be bad for the hobby. It's already expensive but more exposure would only INCREASE the hobby, not the reverse. OVER exposure would have some negative effects such as crowding up tracks and such, but you could always build more tracks ;)
When I saw RCTV on PBS a year and a half ago, my interest got re-kindled. I'm now about to get my second kit - first one was back in '85 and is outdated. I think publicly saying how much it costs and seeing the manufacturers watch their prospective customers cringe might help.
BTW - it wasn't on again last Monday. They seem to have taken it off the air AGAIN. They keep doing that out here. Time to write another letter/email.

my wife was watching Big Brother 2 last night and started yelling "honey come look" they all has Traxxas Rustlers and were doing some cheezy obstical course.

thay should have give traxxas props for there trucks that is one of the most watched showes in history
