First off, howdy to all. I have just found this spiffy forum for RC car people such as myself. Ive been involved in RC car racing for a while(attended the first ever hobby shack race in So Cal, and still own a Tamiya Subaru Brat). Unfortunately, I was out of the loop for about two years because i had to move with my family to Mississippi(gotta love government jobs), and the racing scene was nill. At any rate, id like to get back in.

My present beauty is the following(pics to come):

original HPI RS4 set at 190mm
bearing upgrade
upper and lower graphite decks
KOSE blue aluminum bellcranks
heatsink motor plate
graphite front shock tower
nerf wing and large bumper set
foam bumper
soft super narrow slicks
tamiya 3 spring set
sway bar kit
one-way pulley
removal of slipper clutch with adapter
RR silencer spur gear, 48 pitch
titanium turnbuckles
CVDs all the way around

Its still got the gear tranny in the back.

2 years ago, i was able to keep up in the stock class even when taking on the yokomo's and other full belt cars.

my electrics are as follows:

CS2P(i love this radio!) w/ Novak NER-3FM receiver
Novak Racer ESC
lost the servo.. i think it was an airtronics 94137
Peak Performance Raven stock motor

So how do you all think I will fair? Can i still get replacement parts if i break this badboy on the track? Can i still find a dual belt conversion for it?

Regards

replacement arms and shocks and almost every thing is the same so you can get new ones and how well you race is all on how you drive but i would say your cars up for some good races and by the way welcome back

yup, original that came with no bumper, no sway bar set, super stiff springs, bushings, and a rear gear tranny.

Hey, do you have a pic you can post? I've never seen an original RS4 since I was not involved in the RC hobby in the years tourcing cars started to take off.
