I need advice on what to buy for my Rustler. It is bone stock, i havnt spent any money on modifying anything on it yet{exept esc which i ordered and it hasnt arrived yet**, because our local track was closed for construction and it was fine how it was for bashing! Now i got my speed mart catolog and i want to buy some stuff for it!I know one of the top things u need is a esc, but i already have one ordered {novak super rooster**
so now that i got a VERY high quality esc, i want some bearings that wont clear out the rest of the money i wanted to spend to modify it!I was looking at the ones that are made by Duratrax that are specifically made for a Rustler,Bandit,or stampede, they are 19.99 and look like a good deal! Are these good bearings?I also am going to buy the Max pax 42.99.Then i was going to buy one set of proline dirt hawg tires 12.99 for front, 12.99 for back.Does this look like a good list of items for what i need to get fully race ready again?or if u have suggestions on what to get for the same amount of money pleese post them!
Thanx for all help that can be given! :D

Do the bearings have rubber, metal or plastic seals? Rubber will cause some friction but for that price it's a great deal regardless.

What I suggest you do, is pick up the RPM Bearing adapters, I am not sure of the part numbers, but it uses the 5x11 bearings(same as in the tranny).

So, what I suggest you do, is get the bearing completer kit, for the Nitro Rustler/ N. Stampede(not sure of that part # either). OR, you could just get the nitro Rustler bearing kit, which will come with extra, since you do not need them in the tranny(they come pre-installed now).

Duratrax bearings are just fine, they are fiber sealed bearings, and they do a fine job, in fact, I have a set of them on my Rustler.

The reason I said to get the Nitro Rustler bearings, is because, after you get the RPM adapters, all you will be using is 5x11mm bearings, but, if you want, you can cheap out on us, and not get them, only to find your new bearings literally explode all over the place, and you will hold your car, with tears running down your cheeks, saying "WHY DIDN'T I LISTEN TO XXXER"

Get the RPM adapters, and the Nitro Rustler bearing kit, mainly, you will only need 8 5x11 bearings, but, you could benefit from the few extra, in case any go bad.
