I bought an electric rc airplane with integrated radio süstem a couple of years ago.
It had heat peak car charger, and i didn't have a car then
So i came up with an idea to connect the charger with 12v ac adaptor.
It charged my batteries, but when i turned on the plane - strange things started to happen.
My plane had a safety motor starting switch, so when you turn the plane on, engine won't start before you press a certain button under the fuselage.
Well after pressing the on/off button, engine started without pressing the safety button, and as i checked, it wouldnt respond to the transmitter anymore.
So here is a guestion to ppl who know smth about electronics. What could have gone bad, and where to start looking for the errors? i'm hoping to fix the system so i can use it again.
I have some pictures of the radio system uploaded:

Hello,

This is going to be a tough part to repair and I dont think its worth to throw money into repair. It looks like a 49MHz receiver and those are used on simple RC toys.

you might be able to find a plane like that on eBay and get another receiver that way.

If its a nice plane I would get it modified to 72MHz radio. Guys do it all the time with free flight models.

Sorry I could not be of more help.
