I'm running RC10 team cars and am having trouble. I broke a universal and MIP CVD's are getting hard to find, not to metion wheels. Can I put a B2 cvd in it and change the bearings? Does it require changing the swing arm and turnbuckle also? Can I drill out my old rims and use them on the b2/b3 3/16th axle? Any info on the progression and compatibility would be great thanks.

This is a toughy. Your parts availability problem is only going to get worse. At some point you are gonna have to decide when it would be cheaper just to buy a B3 (or any new kit, I guess).
I just compared the axle shaft lengths between the older Team Car and the B3 ...
They seem to be the exact same length. I also checked to see if the new hub carriers would fit on the old arms ... they will. I would bet you could buy the new carriers, a set of 4 bearings and the B3 CVD's and have no problems. Be sure to watch what toe-in angles you get on the carriers, the older cars are adjustable on the inside and the outside, just like the new kits. You want between 1.5 and 3 degress of toe-in per side.
This would fix your CVD and wheel problems.
Good luck.

For the record. I called AE today and they said the original buggy and the B3 have the save rear width. So b3 bearings and cvd's it is.
