Tamiya TL-01 any good?

I was just wondering if these cars were any good? I can get a brand new one for 30$ at my lhs thanks for any help,

The Tl-01 is an excellent car for begginers and for parking lot racing with friends but if you want to be highly competitive you might consider something else. All Tamiya kits are easy to build thanks to an excellent instruction manual and low parts count. For $30 it's definatly worth it.

well my lhs has about 2 of them for 30$ but there both reserved one for me one for my friend they are the calsonic ones they have had them for too long and want to get rid of em! later RC X

I have a TL01 with the calsonic skyline body. It is a great car even though i'm into my t-maxx right now. It's plenty fast for a first hobby-grade car, and the maintenace is pretty much zero. I got mine for 65 bucks. 30 bucks is a crazy price, go for it!
