I need to replace one of my Aerobird's fuselages (nose caved in, boom way out of whack). Does any know what gauge the black transmitter wire and fishing line is?
I'm going to run the wires from the back of the boom forward instead of through the fuse to the back. It would seem easier. Plus, still being a rookie flyer I'm sure I can use the spare wire for future use!

I'm not sure about the wire, but for fishing line I've been having good luck with spiderline 12 lb supermono xxx.

The receiver wire is very thin, at least 24 guage and probably thinner. With the fishing line, any 4 to 8lb. monofilament should do, but low-stretch might be a good idea.

one day i had my aerobird out and the wind was a little strong and my wing bent and down went the plane and the nose cave in . you can get a small flame and heat the tip it will pop out thats what i did good as new. one thing i can say aerobird is no good in the wind . say goodbye to it on a windy day the best thing you can do is crash it if the wind takes its gone . i got a new alpha trainer 40 very easy to fly and so stable.

ttennis,
Did you have to pull the nose out or did it actually pop out? I have a torch I can put on low.
