I'm looking at getting a mini 1/18 scale stadium truck and would like to know which is the best one out of the Team Losi Mini-T, Team Associated Rc18t, and Trinity Itsy Bitsy Spyder. Which ones better and why? Are all of them 4 wheel drive? Do all of them have 27mhz radio's and receivers?

The mini T is not 4wd. That is all i know. They are most likely all 27mhz but i am not sure.

The spyder and the rc18t are both 4 wheels drive. As far as the best. its really your preference....kinda like the chevy vs. ford...ya know. A lot of people go with what there lhs supports more.

There is a factory team verion of the rc18t which is a kit and technically that would be the best one because of its parts. If its a kit: no radio or electronics, If its a rtr, then most likly it will have the basic am radio package (27htz).

Heres the rc18t factory team

RC18T comes with oil filled shock, separated esc from receiver, standard micro steering servo (3 wires), better radio with better range, better motor, wheel bearings and it's shaft 4wd. A stock RC18T is 2 time faster than stock Mini-T.

I owned a Mini-T before and I sold it for a 18T with no regret at all.

I'm going to get slammed by the Losi guys, but DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY on the mini t. Ferchrissake I've never seen anything so fragile! Especially if you're just bashing, that thing will ruin your day everytime you run it. It's not remotely fast stock, so you won't be happy with the speed, and as soon as you even LOOK at a hotter motor an a arm will break, or the chassis will snap in half, or that ridiculous servo will break.

I'm with slaf on this one. Get the 18t.

get the factory 18t and put your radio equipment.
the losi will cost you alot more money to keep running.

I'll take it a step further: don't waste your money on 1:18... get a B4, XXX BK2, T4, or MF2 :D .

Ehh...1/18's are cool. I'd definately suggest something 4WD. One truck that you didn't mention but that is worth a look is the little Duratrax. It's not flawless, but overall it's a very good little truck. It's fast, handles very well, and looks really good. Parts are fairly cheap too. The knuckles and upper a-arms aren't exactly the strongest things ever, but they're not super weak either. Don't hit things and you'll be fine. Other than that, I would stay away from the Trinity as they have always had parts support problems with their vehicles. The Losi is a good little truck, but I personally don't care for much of anything that only has 2 driven wheels. It is quite inexpensive however, and hopup parts are cheap as well. However, it does need a bit of "hopping up," whereas the RC18 doesn't. The little AE really is an impressive piece of engineering. It's fast, it handles well, jumps well, and it's quite durable as well. About the only bad thing I can say about it is that the front shocks are susceptible (sp?) to damage on hits because the front bumper doesn't do anything to protect them. I've never been a fan of ball diffs either as they require a considerable amount of maintenence of overall they're just a PITA. They're great for racing but for the average basher I feel they're more trouble than they're worth. Overall I think the AE is the best 1/18 on the market though.

I'd say check out the Duratrax and the RC18 and pick between those two.

I had a T3 team factory edtion it didn`t stand up very well to just daily bashing. So saying 1/10 is tuffer isn`t always the case

Factory team stuff usually doesn't hold up as well to bashing as well as "normal" kits because graphite is far more brittle than the plastics used in standard edition kits.

I didn't say that 1/10 was "tougher".

Besides, why buy FT for bashing  .

I've got a nicely suited Mini-T, with only a Hitec servo, JR FM Rx, Novak ESC, 1100MaH batt and titanium buckles. With all that, nothing ever breaks or what not. Besides, I just play with Mini T, no hardcore 1/10th style bashing with it. I think that was sorta the spirit behind these when they were released... you know, just something sorta cute that you can play with, not try to ramp it over a house with :).

I have a Mini-T and an RC18T. If I had it to do over again, I wouldn't have bought the Mini-T, but it was the only game in town, until the RC18T came out.

i would say 18T. one, its 4WD. two, its cooler. three, ITS ASSOCIATED. four, its way more quality. five, its more durable.
