Hey guys, I'm wondering if anyone has ever used RadioShacks 6 cell batteries before, and if they would recommend them?

I'm guessing I can get better for the price, but it's just a guess so far.

Thanxx!

The battery packs they sell are great ! And so are those high performance RC cars they sell !

In fact everything they sell is top notch ...

All I have is Radio Shack batteries. For bashing around they have served me perfectly well. I use them in my E-Maxx; my Rustler; and my Kyosho boat.

Well I have to disagree with both of them, I have one of their 2000 packs, and it doesnt give me much run time. I use it in my XXX-T and used it in my 4-tec before that. I would go with a better battery, something from the RC masters like Trinity or Sanyo or something like that. Thats just my 2 cents though.

When they were selling the 2000 packs for $11.97 a couple months ago, that was a great buy for a practice/bashing pack. Now that they upped the price to like $25, I think they are not such a good deal.

Stay away from the 3000s, nothing but junk.

dont know about radio shack, but my dad had a Sears 1400 pack upstairs in my room for like 13-10 years, never used. I first sued it as a starter for my ez-start, then put deans connectors on them used it in buggy, and now my tc3. I use it as a bash.practice pack, but it holds up just about as long as my 1800. (give about 30-60 seconds). but hey, iv thought about radio shack but i have enough batts as it is!
