There have been some guys use them & like the performance. Look at it this way, slap a set on & get it setup. If you dont like then, fill the holes. :) (you knew that was coming didn't you:D) Naw, but it would be nice to hear from someone that does run them speak up. ;)

I've heard that it helped the cat in the rough. Not so much in turns as they're relatively flat turners. Another thing is mounting above the auto bailers. Wouldn't that make the smallest adjustment a large one considering the height above the bottom?

tabs would be 3/4 inches from bottom. have no idea what effect adjustment would have. I think we oppened a can of worms thanks for input D-dog

never seem them on cats before, just deep vs, but i think 3/4 of and inch is way to high you wuld get no adjust from them so i think it would be a wast of time, cats sit flat anyway and buy the time the tabs hit the water i think you would be having a blow over anyway lol, just a guess anyway :)

Its your choice, you asked for imput on it, if you think think it would help and your always going to wonder, try them its as simple as that, you can learn so much by just trying stuff, always listen to others, but try your own, and what others say, and find what works for you, just cos someone says they dont like this or that, doesnt mean you have too. guess what im saying, dont be afriad to try stuff, even if it sounds crazy sometimes, unless you try it you will never know, its the most fun and you normaly learn something everytime. :) Well im gonna get ready for the lake, try and get some pics this week to post, the wether looks realy good, c ya all soon.

Yep - I agree. Try them, and if they don't work/detract from performance, then take them off and fill the holes. Might as well try them if you already have them though.

Tabs that do not contact water have no affect on performance. If you run then 3/4 inch high you'll have to tip em down an absurd amount to do anything. What'll happen is; the aft end of the tabs will touch the water and throw a lot of spray. It takes energy to make spray. The boat will be slower. Tabs are crutches for the purpose of adjusting the pitch angle of the hull. (nose up or nose down) They can also help control roll angle that is induced by torque. 3/4 inch height might be OK on a 30 foot Donzi but not on your model.

None as in your case they'll be out of the water. Might help with a blow-over. When it starts coming up, they'll catch? Also depends on how wide they are. Might make the boat think its an extra inch or two longer. <idea>?

thats what I was thinking, tabs help in rough water (land without flipping) ride attitude by drive trim in out up or down ?
