i know you guys have probably heard lots about this but i am considering buying one and wondering if its 70 bucks well spent or down the drain. is this a good simulator and worth the money? i've heard lots about it but if one or any of you guys have this simulator to please tell me about it cuz it sure looks like a good simulator. thanks.

I think it looks neat. I saw somthing better over on the Serpent website. It's like realrace, but you get to use your own radio as a controller. What happens is there's a box that plugs into your computer, and that box has plugs that go into your reciver's steering and throttle jacks.

I think it can be used in real-race too.

70 bucks?!! where are you buying from??? Towerhobbies has it for 30! I was thinking bout picking it up as well, to hone my skills for the track. I think for 30 bucks its great, but not 70.

the one that costs $30 is the one with the stick radio, the one that costs $70 is the one with the pistol radio, i think

Yep, the $30 has a stick radio, but the one that is $70 has the pistol grip radio.

Wow thanks guys. so that serpent adapter plugs into your actual radio that you use with your cars? thats pretty neat. that way you can have the adjustments you want on the simulator and convert them to your driving. thanks.

I have realrace and its pretty kew how it lets you change anything on the car. The pistol grip control is a bonus.
