I see body kits referred to as "200mm"; "300mm", etc.
What is that regarding? Width of the body? Or wheelbase?
Is there a standard for wheelbase? For example, are most 1/10 aftermarket bodies all the same wheelbase, but different widths, etc?
Thanks for info to a returning modeller.

Hey nice name. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif
About the bodies, 200mm bodies are for wide touring cars, it refers to the width. There is 190mm which is narrow, I think there is 220mm which is for nitro TCs, I have also seen some 180mm and I think even a 160mm bodies, but those were cars scaled for that small (BMW Z3 and Audi TT). As far as wheelbase is concerned, Im pretty sure that most cars of a certain width. Example being all narrows will have the same wheelbase or very close, The bodies wheel wells will have extra room for wheels that are slightly spaced further back. Hope this helped, Im sure people with some more R/C experience can help you more, I've only been in for about a year, but thats what I have picked up on so far.

The 200mm is body width......190mm are usually used for electric TC's and 200mm for nitro TC's.....
