i was wondering if it would be possible to put a water cooled head on a trx 2.5 engine.

yep ,if you can find one. traxxas makes a boat. the nitro-V. i'm not sure if it uses the 2.5. but i would imagine it does. then you'll need a radiater and a perry pump.
actually i couldn't find a watercolled 2.5. a guess they still use the .15 pro.

if it would work could'nt you just use a gas tank and rout it like a gas tank but just put a return line from the head to the tank. and just use vacum from the pipe. and it would just recycle the water

you would need a radiator to lose the heat.

you could use some copper tubing to make a radiator, use fuel line for the rest of the system, a gas tank for a reservoir and a pump to circulate it. I think this would be awsome and a good show feature but i think it will add too much weight to be practical. If you just bash it would be awsome or just wanna have some fun modding it but nothing else.

I think they make little radiators for water cooling computers w/ fans.

there was an article a few yrs ago where someone water cooled an older tmaxx, he had the resevoir up front in a copper tank with a small water pump and a water cooled head. i believe the copper tank being up front having air blow over it cooled it enough?

Yea there were a handful of water cooled maxx's. Fun idea, but no real benefit for performance.
If your car is over heated in hot weather, cut a cylinder of sponge, get it damp, and put it down the column for the glow ignitor after the motor is running. The damp sponge will absorb mad heat until all the water gets boiled out of it, which takes roughly a tank... pretty convienant eh?

Too much added weight for racing. Bashing yes.
