I have started to make my own off-road RC track at my house. I just finished grading a big plot of land. now i am about to stake and plot my lanes out. I need some help and ideas for my track. tell me what kind of jumps, tabletops, etc i should put in. i have never even been to a track, too far away. give me suggestions and tell me everything.

well first of all are you a beginner or experienced? if you are a beginner i would go with some smaller jumps. like singles and doubles about a foot or 2 off the ground. if u are experienced and just haven't been to a track before then u can look into triples and higher doubles etc. another thing is your truck. nitro or electric? is it fast and powerful? and if its electric what turn motor do u have in it? if it is somewhere around a 20 turn then a triple will be pretty tough to get over... now when it comes to turns, that is pretty much personal preference..(as is the whole track set-up) you could have a hard hairpin turn after a fast straightaway with a nice high berm to help you around. so ur looking at jumps berms, and other stuff. you also dont want to crowd your track with all kinds of jumps and turns. if ur track is to slow then you wont have enough speed to clear the jumps. so think wisely when it comes to keeping your speed up and how many jumps your want. good luck. if u wanna shoot me an e-mail about any of this stuff go ahead... skierpro397@ski.com later and good luck.
