Not sure where I got my idea from but I know it was an awsome body, here is my new shell for my new TC4. Used Fascolors and an Paache H Airbrush. Think I will have to paint the outlines first in the future instead of the darker colors first as it makes it hard to see my outlines on the shell.

REALLY great paint scheme... it's really cool that you used a wide color spectrum and went all the way from blue to yellow and had it all framed in the black or dark blue... it makes it really unique. VERY sharp.
Keep this up and you may be known as...

And you should enter it in the April competition.... you just need the photos larger.... if you can't make that happen, I'll be glad to help you.
Awesome paint job! you should definately put that in the paint comp. I'd suggest trimming those body posts :)
P.S. I can also host some pictures for you if you need it.

I definitely agree with Piggy. You definitely need to post some larger pics (within reason) and definitely need to post that work in the contest.
All that so I could poke fun at Piggy's overuse of the word "definitely" and request some larger pics. :p

gawd that is nice. if i painted a body like that, it would be cracked after a weekend of racing, so i don't paint them that nicely. That is great!!

that paint job is one of the best ive seen. the colours used really work well together, that is a well thought out scheme.ive seen many designs on forums and on some of them the colours are fighting each other but like i said you got that one just right its a minter!!!!

Thanks everyone, I will take some larger pics later after work and try and post them and enter this months contest if it is not too late. I have a 4 Megapixel digital camera and for some reason I have a hard time with the close up shots. Maybe I should actually read the directions! LOL Cheerwhiner I am bad with bodies too and I go through alot of them, that's why I want to savor this one before I tear it up! My Mazda 6 lasted about 4-5 weekends and my Stratus lasted a bit longer. It's always the front! LOL

i dont air brush my bodies due to the crashes in racing them!!
i did buy a real nice custom painted body from aldus designs and it was very nice the detailing was awesome but its now in the scrapyard as its was smashed to bits!!! in a few meetings
so i now just spray them using cans(custom colours) mainly and thats saves me money i guess

psst Gene... look in the manual under "macro mode." =)
You can still get great pictures from moderately close up using 1280 mode or higher resolution. When you crop and resize using a decent graphics program, they still turn out quite well. If you get the distance just right, you may not even need to resize, but just crop it and post it up.

Thanks for the tip Kitty! I will have to try that been a bit busy of late and wanted to get a few good pics outside in the sunshine! Maybe I should read the manuals more often! Seems like the only ones I use are R/C manuals! Imagine that! The rest get tossed in a pile or their respective boxes!

When you take pix in the sun, make sure you stand with your back to the sun, but don't get your shadow in the pic. Just turn the car to get different angles.
Also, shooting on a slightly overcast day or a sunny day when a cloud is over the sun both give a nice, even distribution of light and usually end up giving a better look than shots made in the blazing sun.

I learned that the hard way, NWB. Some of the first pics I took with my digital camera had serious glare spots. I should have known better, having been into photography for many years before using 35mm cameras. Duh. *banging head on desk*
