RC/AP-NASCAR race driver Kevin Harvick was seen on TNT's pre-race show abusing his RC cars. When the story began Mr. Harvick looked like a caring man. It looked as if Mr. Harvick took the time to care for his RC cars, but the story quickly took a trajic turn.
The suspect was shown allowing his two dogs to attack his Nitro powered off road 2WD racing truck. The two dogs repeatedly bit the tires and clawed the unpainted lexan body of the defenseless vehicle.
And after running out of gas several times Harvick was caught on tape kicking the vehicle! Experts say Mr. Harvicks fuel problems were probably due to improper tuning or plain ignorance.
Sadly there are no laws at this time that protect RC cars from abusive people such as Mr. Harvick. The RCVCLU(Radio Controled Vehicles Civil liberty Union) president Greg Vogel could not be reached for comments. Many sources report that Mr. Vogel despite being the RCVCLU president is also a serial RC abuser.
