A question of etiquette

Ok, we're racing on Sunday, and in one race it's just me and chizzler. chizzler is a much better driver then I am (actually, I think I am as good a driver, I just take the time to greet each and every board with a gentle smack so it doesn't get lonely out there on the track.) Any ways, he starts lapping me and I tell him to pull over and pretend the little guy driving his car needs too pee. He just laps me and keeps going. After a little bit, he's gonna lap me again so I tell him to pull over and pretend see the view. Again he just laps me. So then he finishes the race and instead of pulling his car off, he just starts circling me and then has the audacity to flip his car up on top of mine so their roof to roof with me carrying his car down the track and he says "hey look, I'm Top Gunning you and your the Soviet Mig" Now I ask you, was that right?

HM - maybe the little guy in YOUR car needed to pee and that's why he was having such a tuff time driving...lol

As long as he doesn't mind you getting him back when you win then I don't see a problem.

for some reason i really dont remember that whole situation ending with the top gun thingey, but it does make a funny imaginary image and something to look forward to practice :D! LOL!

but i did stop too!!!! what do mean i didnt stop to take a pit stop along the way, my car kept spinning out after the rain with those new tires!

btw, what were the names of the ones you were running, i might try 'em.

i just wish my motor didnt blow up in that main with me in the lead :(

chizz, speaking of racing i went this weekend i was the only electric, so jimmy said i would race with the nitro sadens or go home with a rain check, i choose to run with the nitros. Dropped in my 10turn w/25t pinion. started and after about 2 minutes i lead around4 or 5 laps, then i had motor trouble.

Fixed it went back out, got tangled up twice, i was in 3rd, got tangled up again and thrown in the PVC broke a arm mount and i went home. Hey not bad for electric vs. nitro ah?

those were the Losi Treaded with yellow. They come with good inserts but their a pain to glue together. I liked them a lot and I liked the TC3 much better then the Pro 2. For my style of driving, I they work well. And you did not stop! Me hitting you and your going into the boards isn't technically stoping for a "breather" :D

i'm getting a fantom motor for my TC3 and i still have the P2K but i didn't like the trinity p2k that much. ok.. i didn't like it AT ALL!!! but my fantom p2k rips. so i'm done with Trinity :p

my tc3 is nearly reedy and ae all the way, reedy MVP, and integy mod motors, LRP V6 speedo, JR servo and XR2. The only Trinity Product i won is 3 capacitors, and a 2400 stick pack! Reedy 4-life!

Well personally when I am at a club race or when not many show up we usually stop and wait on each other cuz its so mucher better. We have ALOT moe fun fighting it out rather then just driving and driving. But to me it sounds as if he whoooped ya (JOKE!!!!!) I would have waited though :)

Everyone come out if your in the Chicago area! our next race is on the 5th, practice starts at 11 or so and racing starts at 12.

Who knows, maybe you'll be able to see chizzler pull in front of me and moonwalk his car backwards up over the finish line and then spike a tire while I sputter and wheez just to finish...and i don't even drive gas...

oh yeah, I forgot to add, if you need any set up tips, let me know :) :D

Ok getting beat by a good driver is all good, having fun is all good, but getting beat while the leader is driving in reverse.. that is sad. I would tuck my tail (if i had one) inbetween my legs and yelp all the way home.

Don't worry Mark, if chizzler tries beating me in reverse, I'm twice his size, I'll just yank the back of his underwear band up and over his head and while he flails about trying to see again, I'll regain laps :)
