Yes, the XR3 comes with a reciever and two servos. This is the best radio you can buy for under $170. The best radio for a begginer is either the XR3 or 3PDF. Don't buy something like the M8 unless you have Ni-Cd's. Lots of them...you can make the XXX-t hit 50mph. The problem with that is you would need a Novak Cyclone or better yet a Cyclone2. Either that, or the LRP Quantum. Another part you would need is a 6 or 7 turn Modified motor from Trinity, or Orion. 2400 or 3000 mah batteries would need to be used, or you would have a super low runtime.

Oh yeah, you would also need a pinion gear with an appropriate # of teeth. Orion is coming out with a new line of motors dubbed the Speed Series or something...one of the models to be released is the 50mph version which lists everything you would need to get the car to go that fast.
