Which one is better all around? The XR3 costs less, but then again the Magnum has a nice warranty. Has anyone used either of these radios? Better safe than sorry!

I have the 3PDF which I use for my 1:8 buggie and my 1:10 car also. This radio has every feature you could want and operates flawlessly. The stock servos that come with it are weak, but thats how all radios are and i'm sure you'll upgrade like all of us do.The range is also great,i've taken my cars far enough away to almost loose sight of them and still had control. As for the XR3 I have no experience with but the Futaba is great.

I've got the JRX3 and it's also great. I can't remember the name of the site where I got mine, but at around $160 it's considerably cheaper too. Either radio is a great radio so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

I like the 3PDF alot even though it may cost an extra $30 its worth it. The futaba is better because it has exponentials which are are quite nice since you can tune the radio to where ever it feels comfortable. I have no experience with the JR-XR3 but alot people at my track have it so I assume its pretty nice, and it doesnt't have exponentials.

Does the 3PDF have a BEC reciever? I don't want to lug around 4 extra batteries in my RC10T3 FT.
