The 2PC is allright, I havent tried any of the other ones. You should really wait and earn some money for a high quality FM system. Also thos radios you mentioned dont have very many tuning options which you will need if you race but if you dont those are fine.

Forget an AM system all together. Its more important for begginers to have FM radios. They are easier to use, and aren't that expensive. Save some money for a JR XR3. Its the best radio for only about 160-170 all.

yah.. except after the price of the kit (200) plus new motor/esc.. i'm a little low on the budget side.. (its hard enough to get my wife to let me have JUST the kit)

why are you selling? upgrading?... i'm pretty new to some of the more hi-tec rc'n.. i've had a RC10 buggy for years with an old Airtronics radio.. got a t-maxx (which i wish i woulda waited for the e-maxx.. can't seem to get the engine to stay stable).. but i don't intend to "race".. i just putz around in parking lots and outside my house..
