I just got the Vision Peak and after 2 packs this thing is so hot you can cook eggs on it. Does anyone know if this is normal and is the Mega Peak better?

The problem is that the Vision doesn't have any cooling fans, while the Mega Peak does. So the Mega Peak is deffinately better in that way. What kind of batteries are you charging? and are you using AC?

The Mega Peak gets pretty hot too. You need to let it cool for several minutes between charges according to the instructions. Are you letting the Vision Peak cool between charges?

No, I have not let it cool but i get this smell that it is burning. The mega has fans and I am in Florida, I think I may take the vision back and get the Mega.

why don't you get a small fan to s u c k the heat away? That's what a lot of people do even on more expensive chargers.

mine has that smell when i charge like 3 packs in a row like at a race hasent hurt my charger yet so..... cya
