How old is this thing?
It has a Gold aluminum pan and mech speed control gold aluminum shocks and front and rear shock towers.
Great condition mabey a 8.5 out of ten.
Is this a collectable? any worth guesses?

Wow!
Further investigating It has a serial # on the TX and frame that match.
I wonder if it was a limited production.(though ending in 006911 doesn't sound limited)lol
Original tires and aluminum rims with spinner locks.
Does anyone know a forum or place for research? (google wasn't much help, nor traxxas site)
I left e E-mail to Traxxas for some info if they have any.
well off for some more reading. I'll try a pic

Wow, I haven't seen one of those in years!! Very cool find!! I think it was circa 1988-1990, I think. I wonder if rockinbil has any ideas on links to find out info on this old classic... :)

That is the reason I turned against Traxxas and never bought another product of theirs. The one I had was weak it broke more than any other rc I have had. It was a traxxas copy (poor one at that) of the RC10-which I owned back then and still do.
To be polite I wont tell you what I think it is worth. I will say the best thing to do would be to never run it.
