My Father has a Factory Team Kit RC10T3, with Graphite Chassi. I am getting glitching when it is in neutral. Seems ok when I am running, but bad when sitting still, it will glitch and even go into reverse a little. I was told it is prolly the Graphite, is this true?? I tried 3 different radios and recievers, and 2 motors, and about 5 batteries. He insulated it(using lexon and electrical tape, it seems to help, but still a lil glitching.

Anyone have advice for me? BTW, the Radio is AM, 75Mhz(all three were 75). I read that 27Mhz gets a little less interference, is this true? Any help is appreciated.

Just joking, Yes its true, the graphite can cause this problem. On Team losi's web site (http://www.teamlosi.com) They show you a fix. Its simple, drill a small whole threw the anntenna and thread the wire threw there instead of threw the chassis itself. For a more complex explaining check out losi's site under tips, i think.

We have taken the antenna and went strait from the reciever to the plastic antenna. The wire does not touch the chassis at all, still glitches. Glitches when I put the battery into the tray, if I take it out and hole it, or put it on the table, no glitching. This is with ALL my batts tho, not just one.

Hmm, i see your inside while doing this.Does the same thing go on outdoors? Do you run fm or am? Do you have a spare reciever to test to see if thats the problem?
This is not needed, but fm has less radio interference. Its allways a good upgrade. Other then that i really dont know what to tell you, Are you using a shotcky doit on your power plant? I have no idea how to spell it.

Schotky diodes are for use with forward only ESC's. He means do you have a capicitor on your motor

Raise the speed controller and the receiver off the chassis a little more by using two layers of double-stick tape. And also use the above advice about the antenna wire. Consider soldering on motor capacitors if you don't have them.

Happens indoors, outdoors, and at the track too.

Got 3 capasitors on the motor(have tried 2 different motors).

Rooster(ESC) and reciever are both taped down(layer of 2sided tape, then a thin piece of lexon, then another piece of tape)

Antanna IS set up just like they said, it is not even close to chassi.

Using AM radios, two older airtronics, and a brand new Futaba sport. SO we have also used 3 different recievers, and 3 sets of crystals. *****I am 99% sure all three were 75Mhz, I read somewhere that 27 is better, a lil less interference, is this true????****

Only thing that has been the same is the Rooster, but LHS said there is no way it could be that(interference causes steering glitches too). Rooser is brand new! Could it be the tamiya plug?? I may try to go Dean's and see.

**Seems like it glitches when I put the battery in its tray, if I lay it on top, then no glitching.**

I had a problem like this with my pro 2 and here is how I stopped it. First, make sure all your connections are clean and you have the capacitors on the motor installed correctly. I find this usually fixes any glitching.

Next, go to your local hardware store. They selll rubber tiles that are about 1/8 inch thick and look like kitchen or floor tiles. Buy one, its enough to do several cars. cut them out to fit the bottom of your receiver and the mount them on the car, then mount your electronics to that. Lastly, just put an extra layer of heat sink tubing on the receiver antenna's first 4 or 5 inches.

This is a longshot, but your throttle trim could be the problem. Try adjusting the trim until you get a solid red LED on the Rooster. Either do that, or reprogram the ESC, or both. This could be it, but if the steering servo is glitching too, it probably isn't it.
