Radio Range???

I go like 5 feet in front of me and my car shoots off like its out of range?? the radio batterys are full, well thats atleast what it says on the lcd screen on my mag. sport.
I mean it goes full thortale straight.
What could be my problem??
p.s. its a srt, with futaba reciver, 2000 batts, 13 turn motor, and a dullaly esc.
