Depends on what battery will fit the truck. If there's only room for a hump pack, that's what you're gonna need. If a flat pack works, use that. If you have room on the chassis for either type, then you're golden!!

For 1/10 and 1/12 pan cars we use small reciever packs like the N50 Nicad, or 120, 180MA NiMH cells. A couple of places are selling them Irrgang Racing, Pro Match Racing, Hobby Talk site (hobbyshopper page $7.95), rc4less and a couple of other sites. Cells are available loose or built in (5cells) in flat or hump configuration - use the hump pack if concerned with space. Two packs are generally used for a day of racing, one may suffice if you are able to charge it after each heat. I use a TX/RX Futaba charger or if charger is adjustable charge at .05amp with a .01MV voltage detect setting. For gas or larger vehicles there is the 1/3AA 5cell 1100 reciever packs these should last a day or two before needing to be charged.

Actually you want the 2/3A like llbr222 said. They'll fit in the battery compartment of the TNX just fine. Its what I've been using in mine.
