hi all
im new here
im also new to rc boating
i have a rc boat atm that has twin props but no rudders it steers by turning one prop/motor off kinda sucks cus it looses all speed to do a 180 turn

now after reading about alot of guys getting only 3 min run times on there boats i feel mine must be very slow as i get 10-15 min run times on a 1700 milli amp

any ways i dont want to waste my time on the the boat i have now

I would rather get a better boat. i was looking at a boat hull unsure of maker but its a deep V fiberglass hull, twin props and so on comes with every thing except electronics

its set up for running to 540's
for $100 aus

does that sound like a fair price
ill post some pics of it

Welcome to the board!

Now about the boat... you want it to be electric right? if so the boat looks fine

now to get and esc may be a little tricky the only ones i know of that handle 2 motors are the traxxas evx esc (water cooled) and the kyosho perfex (water cooled)
im sure there are more.....(i don't know much about electric)

i was also thinking of just running the 2 motors of a normal speedy like they do with rc crawlers ( clodbusters, txt, jugganaut) instead of buying ones like you listed

i am rather confused atm i really like this boat and it looks like a good deal going by all the other stuff around ive seen

but i am only 16 and dont earn alot being a first year apprentice so im not sure i want to spend that much considering all the other hobbies i have

but its only $100 i can sell it for a little more if i lose interest
