Steve I have been e-mailing Photo Point costomer since they started putting up the banners. I just this morning recieved an answer back from them (Warren). Warren said that this is the first he has heard of this problem?!? Anyway he told me he would find out what the problem is and explain it to me. I gave him your name as someone to talk to regarding this. I wll be interested in what he come's up with. I just thought I would let you know. :)

Thanks Steve. Maybe they will shape up over there. In the mean time I like the idea of image hosting here. Thant would make things a lot easier. :)

Thank you for following up with them. Photo Point was just bought out by the software firm that originally developed what is now Photo Point, so maybe they see the light a little better than the previous management...

Were also still working on a solution that would allow BB users to upload images to our own server - free.

I'm glad to see that we might be able to post images through this fine site. Keep in mind that many members are using webtv as a server. I use a camcorder and sent my images to Photo point and they store them as jpg's. I am still trying to find a free image hosting site that is compatible with webtv, and will not be bounced off my "for sale" listings.

Im a webtv user to. Dont leave us out if there is something done. Ive seen others here that are webtv users also. :D

Here is a place Ive been meaning to try out. Its says Think of the site as ********** for RC. I have not tried it yet so dont know if it is webtv friendly. But it goes through the same motions. http://www.clikshow.com/rc/

Why is Picture(replace with synonym) Point on the filter?

It's on the filter so that the pix get banned automatically. If it wasn't, then someone would have to edit every P/P post out manually without the name on the dirty word list.

B/c people kept on trying to post their pictures through photo point even though they didnt have an account, and banners for photo point kept popping up. that equaled free advertising for photo point on the site, that was no fair to the paying companies who were advertising. so steve put photo point on the filter, that way, when someone tried to type in the adress to the picture, the photo point in it would come up as a **********. effectively making it so their banner would not show up, bye bye free advertising.

I asked Martin, at that site, the basic questions about being on webtv.
He just told me to open a garage door and try sending images from a camcorder. I will try later today, after racing.

The easiest way is to make a Homestead acount and u just post pics on a blank webpage then you can link them off of the site just like with photo point, I made a site www.photonet.homestead.com (http://www.photonet.homestead.com) I can pit pics up for you if you need, just email them to me.

WOW that's a three year old post, how the hell did you find that in reference to your question? LOL!!

You've got Javascript problems bud, probably something a virus did to your browser. What browser?

I think it's a webTV thing. Can you choose a browser with WebTV? BTW - this would have been better as a new topic given that this has nothing to do with Photopoint, but since we're already here... :D

Well I just searched "webtv" knowing this came up before. We had similar isues back then

I can't choose a browser.

It worked in the past when the little blue camera was on the same page as the reply message box but the procedure changed a little bit ago and we now click on the blue MANAGE ATTACHEMENTS.

rcknbil this webtv I dont worry about viruses its not suppose to catch them key word suppose. I can transmit them (unknowingly) to regular computer user. The big "main frame" that this webtv box connects to does the filtering or such.

Thanks for any help.
