Oh yeah, I saw those somewhere. They look like lots of fun. Maybe you could rig the Tamiya battle system up to them and wage wars with the guys. That would be sweet. Thirty bones? For that price, why hold back on it?

Bullfrog, where are you getting the tank from?

SB, thanks for the info. Do you know where they are sold. It would be fun to fight with those too. Maybe I can sneak that into the local paintball arena, and shoot paintballs instead of pellets.

I know I shouldn't be promoting this thing, cause it could possibly cause bodily harm, but I still thought it was pretty cool.
There's a paintball company out there that has an r/c tank that shoots little plastic pellets, and at a fairly high rate of speed. I guess Mauri(sp?) has something to do with it. One of the employees at a local hobby shop ordered one, it looked pretty cool. I think they run around $200 ready to run.
The pellets will leave welts at close range.

These things are col I got to play with one in a hobby shop while in Japan, next day I came in to pick one up but all they had left was the display one. Too bad, but hey I guess I might get one from tower at $30 its cheaper then most other stuff for RC lol.

The mini tanks are not that inexpensive - but they're much less than a Mini-Z however. The M1 tank has a four-button controller, and the Tiger tank has a six-button controller with a rotating turret - hence the reason for the higher price. Here's a link where you can buy them in the US. :D

Steve, does the battle system for the Tiger I work with other tanks, such as the King Tiger DMD, or the Sherman DMD?

You're thinking about the battle system for the Tamiya tanks. They're much bigger than these Kyosho mini tanks. No way to make it fit.

Hey Serius Black, Tokyo Marui makes them, they also make a line of Replica Model Guns that fire the 6mm plastic pellets, most are very high quality. It's one of my other hobbies :) But you can find those tanks for less, I've seen some for about $140, on eBay and some Airsoft sites.

Steve, I was talking about putting the Tiger I battle system into another Tamiya tank. The Sherman DMD Full Option and King Tiger DMD are both 1/16 scale, and are made by Tamiya. Those are the tanks I was thinking about putting the system into.

Mark - I'm not sure if the systems are interchangeable, but Tamiya is coming out with a system for the Sherman tank.

Thanks a lot, Steve. The kits would sell more if the systems could be switched. Compared to the Tiger I turret, the other two look to be too small for the battle system. It probably would recoil either. Thanks again, Steve.

I noticed that the translation was a bit off too. I think it was from French to English.
