got me some moster trucks i bash around with! also trying to race one of them as well.the last forum i visited on another site kinda banned me so i just have to keep my kool 'round here....either way i usually bash around town and me and a friend are in the process of building a track behind his house, but were trying to keep it a secret from the locals. i also belong to a small racing RC team up north which i hook up with on the weekends when i get the chance, which is where our racing team is located we're called Team FireFox Racing....website is kinda on the down-low at the moment :rolleyes: well if anyone is local to me you can pm me and maybe we can get together and bash it up sometime.....lemme know

im from fords NJ....edison is my neighboring town. and ya i usually goto elmwood park and bash around with albert and the boys, since there was not too many people i know who own RC's in my town, i opted for the elmwood park boys.....i wonder....i think we have met once in elmwood park.... my real name is victor.... i have a revo and a tmaxx....but i run the revo more...

i have a rs4 3 with a tz and soon slightly custom chassis for the gears that i have 19/41, 22/37... The engine mount holes keep the engine too far away from the spurs so ill need to get a new chassi and cut the holes longer...it will hopefully be running soon...

i know woodbridge ave and raritan ctr too...i was lookin at a place on king georges rd near the fuji and fedex buildings....as a matter of fact,right next to the hotel there, a huge concstrution site is not usually used on the weekends ill take a look at it this week sometime and fill you in...... :D

ya actually one revo finished 1st in the a main and i think a xxt losi,(electric), stadium truck claimed 2nd.

i didnt get a chance to got last week but this sunday im headed up there to get my card and some stickers...ya'll are welcomed to join me, but like i said i need to know who wants togo before saturday nite. i'll be leaving at about 10-10:30 am to be there for 11ish...so lemme know pm me.......

well i checked it out yesterday and it was looking really good,weather was good, track was nice. was the first time i was ever there to watch races. in 2 weeks i will be racing with team firefox. if ya'll are still intrested, i am going up there not this week, but the week after to race,so be prepared the latest we have to be there is at 10 am to registar,thats if u want to race,and it is an all day event. i tell ya.....some racers are good and some are just a novice as i am. it looks intimidating but,its all for fun and its great to watch the races.

so lemme know if anyone wants togo, there is plenty of time to prep your vehicles and get them race ready...lets do this!!! :D

how did firefox do? I'm looking forward to go to the next race too. I will probably race my MGT or just watch first since I haven't been to that track yet and do not know the procedures like how they do everything there. Badboy2 and I used to go to Elwood NJ to race (checkerboard)-- friendly people and hopefully same at dirtrunners.

they did individually well, as a team there are only 2 guys from the team that are actually going to the races,me i will be the 3rd one from the team to compete.it will be my first time ever to run my truck in a race so the intimation factor is not very high after watching a few races.as far as how they set up races,it is done by vehicle class.for example, they have stock monster truck class in novice oval and offroad,also they have a offroad modified which u can run any modification allowed. check here (dirtrunners.com) for more info,i dont post these links for nothing ya' know..... :p

Yea...right now I only have MT's so I can only be in that class...but once I get the hang of it, I may get into something else. There seem to be alot of REVOs in the team...no one is in the Unlimited class? like the truggies etc.

well if u race ur savage, if its hopped up, u will be in the unlimited class and there are some people that run UL class. it really depends on the day of the race and how many entries there are for the class..... ;)

AS long as you get the right tires and don't get intimidated by other cars around you, you should be fine racing. I get slammed a lot in the back by inexperianced racers with those high end engine after you pass them on a turn. Last year I raced with a Torq .21 duratrax engine and still got top spots in the A main, by just racing clean and consistant. Their are some people their that can harness the better engines, but most don't.

I'm just really pissed that I made my 1/8th scale buggy brushless electric and spent so much time on it to race it there, and now they think the buggy has more advantages. I did better when it was nitro. Last weekend was the first time I havent raced outdoor since june.

I'm convinced that BL is not allowed because trinity is so close to the track, that or whiners.

I ran my MT2 in the UMT class. I couldn't get it tuned right, it flamed out the first race and I couldn't get it tuned in time for the second race. And that was my day.

I was farily competitive with my electric tamiya cars, I have a stadium blitzer looking for some action, and a baja king that there never is a class for.

Hey guys just wondering if anyone would be interested in a day trip down to south jersey. about 20 mins from great adventure. I work at trax70 an rc track in south jersey and we are putting together a large event the second week of october. 3 nitro classes with 75 drivers in each class, nitro MT, 1/10th 2wd stadium, and 1/8 scale buggy A-main prizes will be a new rtr vehicle in the class you race example savage for MT, rc10gt for stadium,
and ofna 1/8 scale buggy for 1/8 scale. more updates to come stay tuned for the official thread

for the winter it opens in october

Derf I reccomend you get in touch with the guys from Tech toys or Zepplin hobbies they are in northern NJ and may be able to help you with tracks in your area
