hey guys i was wondering about how far can a am pistol radio go before it loses signal?

I don't know how far...but iv had my car really far away from me....i say about 20-40 feet...might be wrong but thats how it felt.

When I had an AM radio back in the day, 300 feet was no problem. It all depends on what's around the area you're driving in.

20 - 40 feet?? It can go just a wee bit farther than that. It does depend upon the area you are in though, and what kind of interference you are getting from other sources. Stand in a spot, drive your car out until it leaves radio range, have a friend mark that spot, and measure it. That should give you an idea of how far.

Thanks guys i was wondering how far because i got this crazie idea and made my foam free flight glider into a r/c saiplane i just wanted to know if i would be safe u know so i dont bite the dust.(its a blast controling a saiplane with a pistol grip radio)
