I have been asking around in other posts, and I haven't gotten any response, but where can I find some plans for a large scale gasser? I would like to build something in the 50" range. Also, I have read that the plans for the 1/4 Cracker Box are very innacurate, mainly the bulkheads not being symmetrical and such. So, could anyone help me out??? Thanks!!!

The crackerbox is largely the only monohull gasboat you'll find in plans. You could scale-up a plan like the Wild Thing to fit a gas engine or if you'd like to build a scale hydro Robert Newton has plans for alot of Unlimited class boats.
You can also inquire on the Jim's Boatdock website as there's alot of gasboaters who might help you find a plan set to your liking.

Hope this helps,

Rick, who's Robert Newton? Never heard of him. I do know a Roger Newton, known him personnally for years. His boat plans make great large scale gassers, when enlarged to 1/6th scale(134%). Add a few frames and modify the engine by a little and Presto! Instant gas hydro

RC Boat Modeler's web site has the 1/4 scale Jerry Dunlap plans for the Crackerbox gas version. Plan #fspAA011 @ $19.95 plus P/H.
