okay ihave been racing at a crummy dirt oval and have won the past two weeks agaist a total of 2 people (thisis at northboro, MA) and i am probably going to make the hike to rc maddness, but wanted to know if i should run eltric or gas.
i alraedy have a ton of money into my eletric xxxt. bout to buy a latthe, for my d4 motors die after a month. and with the lattthe they sould go 2 if i am lucky (and thisis running it a max of 1/2 a week!)
i have a gt rtr i got last spring, hopped it up a ton and then put it away due to naboirs, and being overwhelmed. however i was wondering what i have to do to maintain the nitro? how often do i have to rebuild the motor (a biggie) and i know i will probably end up buying a new engine after every season, which i imagine is cheaper than all the d4's i will be eating up. also i probably will spend over 30 minutes each week working on just themotor of my eletric. what will i have to do with a gas? and which is more of a hastle? i know i coudl run stock and might, but i will still go all out and buy all the stuff. i do have a budget, but i realize other stuff will suffer, limiting just doesnt work when buying rc stuff (you end up paying more in the long run). anyway so the biggies are matience and eninge matenice, do you have to rebuild the thing? any help is great, thanks
