I think I want a Factory Team GT. Is it still able to win vs a Losi XXX-NT or the Ultima GP type R?
Yes. Why would you doubt the power of the GT? Its DEFINATELY able to keep up and DEFINATELY able to win. No doubts about it.

Cuss out the turn marshals because they cussed at you!!!

NO DOUBT, IT WILL ALWAYS BEAT THE ULTIMA, and it can stay up with the tripleX-NT, and beat it almost every time, so if your gonna get a nitro stadium truck, go with the FT GT

look over there...Whooops, you crashed!!
You see that? Thats the back of my car
it all depends on the driver, with the same driver the xxx-nt is the faster truck.

What makes you think the XXX-NT is faster? Speed and acceleration is dependant on many factors: gearing, motor, fuel, rotating weight, etc.. I do beleive that either is capable of winning. It depends on the setup as well as the driver. Buy the one that you like. I prefer the GT because it seems easier to work on, and that I have always had AE cars. I am familiar with their stuff and it is what I feel confortable with. I win with my GT, but I beleive with a little time to get one setup, I could win with the Losi or the Kyosho.

I beleave the xxx-nt is faster because it takes advantage of current suspension designs, now i'm not talking about straight line accleration or top speed, gearing and a big motor can make any thing fast, i'm talking about getting around a track, i think that if every thing being equal(motor, gearing, driver)the xxx-nt will be faster, now i'm sure some one is going to pop in here and say that xxx-nt is not faster because its always broken and the gt is never broken, both those points can be debated forever, i'm just saying that every thing being equal the xxx-nt will get around the track faster. I'm not trying to put the gt down, its record proves what kind of truck it is, but i beleave its age is going to start to show now that newer trucks are starting to come out.
like i said i'm not trashing the gt, i used to have a GTX, so i do know what it is like to chase a gt.

From what I've seen the GT is able to put faster lap times down at my track because the fastest racers use them. However the XXX-NT drives a lot nicer than the GT so I think its the driver more than the truck. I'm getting the xxx-nt tonight but Saturday the owner of my track put in the first ever 12 lap run in 5:00! But its still the driver and setup

If its pulling a wheelie its mine!
I agree totally, good luck with your new truck.
