Paint order!?

Painting my first multi-color body starting tomorrow (using all rattle cans :o ). Just wanted to make sure the color order is right. I'm going to be using SpazStix mirror chrome for flams on the front and for the little roll bar things that go to the back of the body (it's a Crowd pleazer for the MGT) which I will be painting first. Then I'm going to over-spray the flames with a little fading to black, and paint the black part of a checker-board which will be on the back of the truck, this I will paint second. Third I will paint the main part of the body which will be a Copper color. Lastly will be the white part of the checkerboard.

THe paints are:
SpazStix Mirror Chrome
Pactra Outlaw black: Lacquer
Pactra Sprint White: Lacquer
Tamiya Coppor: Polycarb spray (whatever they use)

NO!

You can't use laquer black on the chrome...it will dull the chrome and leave you with some lead ;) looking flames. You have to use a water based black and even then you can't layer the other laquers on top of it. You have to do it last....well next to last before the backing color. I think Spazstix makes a can of black color just for this.
