I am running a Kyosho MP-7.5. The servos came from my 3 year-old MP-5.

I am using a Futaba 3PJ with a 9304 servo for the steering. Here is the funny part, when I lift the front of the car off the ground and slowly turn the wheels from far left to far right, the servo glitches in the center. When I put the car down, everything appears to work fine. I know that it is not interference because I have isolated the problem to my servo. I replaced the servo with another 9304 and the same problem happened. I then used a friends Hitec servo and the centering problem went away. Here is the question. My 9304 servo are quite old and have been more then abused : ) Is it possible that these servos are worn out? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

ounds like one of the gears has a wornout tooth. Take it apart and examine. You may be able to get a rebuild kit muc cheaper than a new servo.

Also, it could be a prob with the wires just being old.
