i finally got to the hobby shop to pick up my diff for my rustler. so now i am in theo money. i have a pack charged right now and am ready to go get some action shots!!! (i have a head ache, so im on he comp tryin so simmer down alittle) i hope my mom can get some good shots of me jumpin my wood jumps. but anyway.............

i used white lithium grease in my diff and other gears, and it kind of isnt very smooth liek it was. it says in the directions to use silicone grease which i do not have. but i do have silicone shock oil. the heavyiest i have is i think 40 or 45. can i use one of these till i get silicone grease? im not sure what to do here.

Shock oil wont work the same as silicone grease. The grease sticks to the parts better than oil, which would simply fly off the parts. Go to the hobby shop and get some Associated or Losi diff lube.

steve, the hobby shop is 45 mins away from me!!! i cant just hop on my bike and go down there. it takes me atleast a month to finally get down there. (by the time my dad has time off work and gets off his butt to take me, or by the time my grandpa gets off his butt to take me.) can i get some at wal mart or something? my dad said he wants to get soem anyway so he can have it. he also needs loctite cuz i need to put it on my cvds.

y didnt the guy at the hobby shop tell me i needed this stuff? i thought i could just use regular grease. that guy was kinda rude too cuz he said "cutting of comms is a drop it off and pic it up kinda thing, because we dont do it on the weekends." (i went saturday which was yesterday.) and then he said "well, i guess were not that busy, so i could do it real quick." and it took him 3 minutes to do it!!!! what a ******* !!! u cant take 3 minutes to service some kid's motor who really luvs this hobby and wants to get back into it for the first time in 3 months!!!! they are never busy. when they are busy, they have like 5 ppl in there. its a load of bull. that guy really ticked me off. i thank him for "taking time out of his buys schedule" to cut my comm, but thats dumb that id have to leave it there cuz he doesnt do it on the weekends.

i ran it for the first time in 3 months with my new diff and my speed gems 2 garnett freshly cut by the hobby shop dude, and brand new brushes. this thing goes fast!!! i forgot how fast it went!! it goes atleast 45!!!! i jumped it like 20 times. and got probly 6 pics. and i got at the most 6 feet of air, and i went 15 feet on one jump. it was sooo sweeet. i have to take 3 more pics of my old crappy body then ill have my whole roll burned up so i can scan the pics and get em on here.
