25" is probably too big for 6 cell. i just got done scaling down a Maxam hull to 22" to run 6 cells in. construction of that hull should begin next week. i'm estimating a cost of around $60 to build 2 hulls. the plans were $15 including shipping and then there's the wood and glass. if you go with a mild motor and unmatched cells...a setup like that would be around $300. i don't see a wild thing costing much more at that size.

I have his e-mail address but I'd rather not give it out. The Wild Thing has been both up and downsized. I own a downsized version that I run a .12 nitro engine in. I have one of the very few wood versions that was made by Mike Zaborowski. He has another one coming out in epoxy-glas that should be on the market real soon. www.grimracer.com for pix. The hull is 26" long and is using the name Wild Thing 26. As for using electric power in it, you'd have to make your own cowling for it unless you'd like to have it open.

one of the guys at rum runner's built a 14 cell brushless wild thing. if i can find a link i'll put it up so you can see the hatch and everything that he put on it. how about 26-28" with 12 cells and a fine design 700 cordite. would that work?? mmm...now i want to build one. crap  i guess it's going on the "to-build" list :D

yup! that's the one i'm talking about. it's sleek, clean and purdy!!! it's a rocket too, from what i heard. i'd like to try one of those Neu motors, but no idea on the cost.
