I was reading though the first r/c car post and saw the little bit about r/c jet cars and thought you guys might be intersted in this.

In this sunny lil' country we call Australia, there's a hobby store called "The Hobby Shack". And in this store there happens to live a R/C Jet Car called PYRO which is owned by a bloke called Kevin Delaney. It is powered by an AMT Peasus Mk. III Micro Jet Turbine. It sits on a carbon fibre chasis with FG 1/5 scale suspension and rims, and is covered by a 1/4 scale Pontica body. There was an article about it in an R/C Mag, "Radio Control Cars for Dirt & Track". I was lucky enough to be at one of the cars demo runs and it was truly amazing.

I built a Twin Engine Rocket Powered RC Car. It is powered by Two Estes D12-3's and has a Max of 14.8 LBS of thrust. You can view it at http://www.angelcities.com/members/jerzydvl/rj/rj_rocket.html

I think you guys are getting rockets confused with jets. The jet are used on model planes and run on liquid fuel. They also cost a lot more.

Hey man, rockets can run on liquid fuel too.
