I have a XXXT stadium truck that I am setting up for a very tight track. I am currently running the stock red springs in the front and the pink springs in the rear with 32.5 weight oil all around. What is this oil going to do with my set up. I used to have 20w in it and it seemed too bouncy. I need some direction on how to understand the oil/spring set up. The track has alot of little jumps in it and very sharp curves.

Thanks,
Glenn

Well, if the track has good grip, then I'd say a thicker oil is a good idea, if the truck is feeling a bit "bouncy" or seems to have a lot of body roll when cornering, then more shock damping should help calm it down(like when using thicker oil, as you've done, or using shock pistons with fewer or smaller holes in them). Only drawbacks are that it can reduce grip just a bit, & if the track is really bumpy & rough, then the suspension may have more trouble keeping the tires in contact with the ground(because the bumps could try to make the suspension arms move faster than the shocks can keep up with, because of the increased damping). So you might have to make a bit of a compromise between ride & grip, but it'd certainly be worth trying.....
