Uh, no. hehe

The crystals set the frequency, not the modulation. Some of the really expensive radios have a removable modulator that you can change (27mhz, 75mhz, or 40mhz in Europe).

And make sure you use a reciver on 27mhz. 75mhz recivers won't work with a 27mhz radio.

If your radios is a 27mhz radio, then thats all you can use. Period. End of story. If you want to use 75mhz, then you have to buy a 75mhz radio. You can't just change crystals. There might be a possibility that if you have a good radio, you can change the module from 27 to 75 so that you can change your crystals. But modules run around $50 and up to/over $100. But also, you need to change your receiver also. I hope this helps.

Okay i understand but most recivers can hold 27mhz and 75mhz right? So all i ahve to do is change the reciver crystal to 27mhz right? Iam going to use a jr racing xr2 and i have 2 Futaba recivers. They say the can handle 27 and 75mhz. So i guess i can sue them right? Thanks

No, if you have a 27mhz RADIO, you MUST use a 27mhz receiver. IF you have a 75mhz radio, then you MUST use a 75mhz receiver, they are NOT interchangable. You must use the right crystal freq. with the corresponding mhz.
